The Contender

I hope I could shed a tear or two
For the sake of the things you do
But an awe of a contender
Will always be for a pretender

You sit back, my dear
I will tell you a sweet fairytale
With no beginning
Or a happy end

Ladies would love to see another
To see you fail and stutter
See through your reflection
The beauty of your desolation

Just try and visualize
How much I pity
But know that your heart is dark
And I do not have any

I hear no complaints
From your cellmates
I hear them singing
The sound of your wrath

Write another tragedy
About a lovely girl you see
Or maybe try romanticizing
The victory set for me
