Game of Deceit

I was not the one hiding under your bed,
Nor the one claiming your head.
I am simply me,
The one destroyed – completely.

Damages were concealed,
But was something I have built.
I said I made walls,
But your fear still lingers, still crawls.

You were an enemy,
A hidden foe.
My incomprehensible bravery,
Will send you down low.

My, my, deception,
Sure is my favorite friend.
With those deadly submission,
I am but your friend.

This is a sword fight,
A battle between you and me.
Someday you will lose sight,
Lose sight of me.
